Well the vote has been going on for a while but there is a end to the question, X Factor winner Joe McElderry is gay, yes. He’s come out after his twitter account was hacked. He made an official announcement on his website with the daily mail also running a story.

Little Joe McElderry is now due to perform at the National Television Awards. Joe will be performing a cover of Don’t Stop Believin by Journey, a song he performed in the XFactor and that has been made popular by Channel 4 TV show Glee.
Joe will be performing with other XFactor stars JedWard.
The vote so far is saying no, at the time of writing it’s 97 Votes no with 72 saying yes.
It’s been a bit quiet on Joe Mcelderry recently, he’s going to be recording his new album soon ready for release in 2010.
